Fair President's Welcome
Welcome to the 2020 Middlesex & New Haven County 4-H Fair, our 94th fair. Here we have something to offer for everyone. Whether it’s admiring the projects that the 4-H’ers have made, watching livestock pulls or everything in between. Our 4-H’ers have worked very hard to prepare for this once a year event. 4-H is truly a special program. Here we teach youth about leadership, learning by doing, and how to make the best better. Rather than focusing on the ribbons, we focus on the impact. 4-H has helped many of youth come out of their comfort zones in beneficial ways. I would encourage you to visit their hard work in the livestock projects, Home Arts creations, pull, entertainers, and vendors.
Without the dedication of clubs, leaders, and 4-H’ers, this fair would not be possible. They have put many countless hours preparing projects and exhibits make this fair successful. I would especially like to thank all of the youth officers and 4-H Staff that have served on the Fair Board throughout the year to plan our fair. They display what it is to, “Make the Best Better”. I hope you have a chance to visit and experience all that we have to offer here. Good luck to all of our exhibitors, you will do amazing!
