2025 Calendar
Our 4-H Fair is held the first full weekend in August: the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in 2025. Saturday and Sunday are the best days to experience the Fair.
June
- 1 - Verification forms due for dog, rabbit, cavies, goat, swine, working steer, llama, alpaca, poultry and sheep
- 6 - 81st anniversary of D-Day. National Donut Day.
- 10 - Tuesday, Exhibitor Registration Night at the New Haven County Extension Center in North Haven, from 4:30 to 7:00 PM.
- 11 - Wednesday, Exhibitor Registration Night at the Middlesex County Extension Center in Haddam, from 4:30 to 7:00 PM.
- 14 - Saturday, Flag Day
- 15 - Sunday, Father's Day
- 19 - Thursday, Juneteenth
- 21 - Saturday, North Stonington Rabbit Clinic
- 24 - Tuesday, Teen Council 4-H Leadership Summit at Middlesex Extension
- 28 - Saturday, Cromwell Rabbit Clinic
- 28 - Saturday, Connecticut & Rhode Island Holstein Show at fairgrounds in Durham
July
- 4 - Friday, Independence Day πΊπΈ
- 14 - Monday, 4-H Fair Association meeting starts at 6:00 PM
at fairgrounds in Durham - 19 - Saturday, State 4-H Horse Show at Tolland Agricultural Center
- 26 - Saturday, Fair Set-up from 7:00 AM to about 12:00 Noon
- 31 - Thursday, Fair managers and superintendents in person training starts at 6:00 PM.

August
- 2 & 3 - Our 4-H Fair Weekend
- 1 - Friday evening: Home Arts judging and Safe Tractor Driving
(4-H Fair is closed to the general public on Friday.) - 2 - Saturday, Fair Opens at 8:00 AM, with multiple animal shows starting at 9:00 AM
- 3 - Sunday, Our 4-H Fair continues morning through early afternoon
September
